Job summary

Bavarian Nordic in Denmark is seeking a curious Student Assistant – Data Science to join the Global Manufacturing Science and Technology (gMSAT) Data Science & Analytics team. You will gain hands-on experience by working with statisticians and data scientists across the data lifecycle in a highly regulated GMP environment.

In this role you will collect and clean data, visualize trends, review reports, and perform simple analytics while developing toward a data scientist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Statistics, Data Science, or Bioinformatics or related field.
• Final-year student or MSc candidate, eager to learn and take on responsibility.
• Strong written and oral English skills.
• Structured, proactive with ownership mindset.
• Interest in data handling in GMP environment.

Boost our team

As our new Student Assistant, you will become part of the Global Manufacturing Science and Technology (gMSAT), Data Science & Analytics team. Your focus area will be to support our organization with a broad range of data related tasks. You will work closely with our Statisticians and Data Scientists to get hands-on experience across different parts of the data-related lifecycle.

We are looking for someone who is motivated to deliver high standard of data analysis and would like to take on more responsibility than typically expected in a student position. This is a great opportunity if you are interested in developing towards a data scientist in a highly regulated Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.

Your tasks

• Collect, update and review data using various sources and LIMS systems
• Data visualization to illustrate trends and correlations
• Review data reports
• Simple data analytics

Are you our next Student Assistant?

We imagine that you are in final year of Bachelor’s or have ongoing Master’s degree in Statistics / Data Science / Bioinformatics or in other data science relevant field. You are also eager to learn, develop, and gradually take on more responsibility. Furthermore, we imagine that you:

• Have very good written and oral skills in English
• Work at a good pace and have a sharp eye for details
• Are structured, responsible, and comfortable taking ownership of your tasks
• Are curious and motivated to learn and take on new responsibilities
