Hamamatsu Photonics A/S in Denmark is seeking a Student Assistant to join the Procurement team. You will support data-driven improvements, sourcing activities, and supplier data management while gaining hands-on experience in an international setting.

The role emphasizes analytical work, exposure to procurement processes, and developing Power BI skills alongside a proactive, collaborative team. English communication is essential.

• Pursuing/holding Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field.

Put your studies into practice as a Student Assistant in our Procurement team. Gain hands-on experience with data analysis, suppliers, and procurement processes while supporting an international organization.

Your role and responsibilities

• Support improvements to procurement processes, procedures, templates, workflows, and reporting.
• Support sourcing activities by collecting quotations, comparing offers, and following up with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare reports, analyse data, and identify spending patterns, data gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Collect, maintain, and validate supplier, contract, and purchasing data, including questionnaires, certificates, and supplier records.
• Assist the Procurement team with supplier documentation, follow-up activities, and other operational tasks as needed.

What you bring to the team

• Relevant studies: Bachelor's or Master's degree within supply chain, business, economics, or a related field.
• Analytical mindset: Comfortable working with data and turning it into useful insights.
• Digital skills: Comfortable with Excel and interested in developing Power BI skills.
• ERP experience is an advantage.
• Working style: Proactive, curious, and comfortable taking ownership while collaborating with others.
• Communication: Confident written and spoken English.
