Visma e-conomic is seeking a strategic, hands-on leader to govern AI adoption and drive measurable business value across functions. You will establish maturity models, align local initiatives with corporate priorities, and manage cross-functional AI initiatives with senior stakeholders.

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will balance strategic planning with execution, build business cases, and scale successful AI solutions across the Visma Group. Copenhagen-based with hybrid work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in management or strategy consulting, or in strategy/transformation roles in tech or SaaS.
• Hands-on with AI, actively using AI tools in work and leading adoption.
• Strong project management with the ability to drive execution across many stakeholders.
• Clear communicator who can present to senior stakeholders and run workshops.
• Analytical mindset with KPIs, data and business cases to support impact.
• Fluent English; Danish is a plus.
• Location in or near Copenhagen; hybrid work with office presence at Carlsberg Byen.

At Visma e-conomic, more than 300,000 businesses rely on our platform to run their companies. We are shifting from decentralized AI experimentation to a structured, company-wide program that delivers documented commercial and operational value.

Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will apply core management consulting disciplines to build governance, prioritize initiatives, and translate AI adoption into measurable business performance across all functions. You will also serve as our strategic bridge to the broader Visma Group, importing group-wide best practices and reporting local progress to Visma HQ.

The Impact

This role bridges executive strategy and ground-level execution. By establishing discipline around AI adoption, your mandate directly drives:

• Commercial & Operational Value: Turn ad-hoc tests into documented ROI by lowering operational friction, improving processes, and freeing up capacity across business units.
• Capital Discipline & Efficiency: Establish full transparency over AI spend, focusing budgets on high-yield initiatives and avoiding duplicative tools across teams.
• Organizational Scalability: Turn isolated departmental wins into enterprise-wide assets, scaling proven solutions across e-conomic and positioning our business unit as a reference within the Visma Group.
• Executive Decision Clarity: Provide senior leadership and Visma HQ with factual, data-driven reporting on adoption maturity, risk governance, and value realization.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Operating Model: Establish a shared maturity model, common terminology, and operating rhythm across business units to align local initiatives with corporate priorities.
• Investment & Prioritization: Assess cross-functional use cases, build business cases, monitor overall AI expenditure, and advise leadership on capital allocation.
• Network Leadership & Visma Alignment: Lead the internal network of functional AI ambassadors, connect local initiatives with the wider Visma Group to scale solutions, and eliminate duplicated work.
• Executive Reporting & Storytelling: Define performance metrics, track realized ROI (efficiency and commercial impact), and deliver consolidated reports to executive management and Visma Group leadership.
• Capability Building: Plan enablement sessions, hackathons, and internal workshops to upskill teams and accelerate operational adoption across departments.
• Corporate Strategy: Contribute to broader strategic priorities within e-conomic's strategy function as business needs evolve.

What you bring

We are looking for a structured strategist who combines a consulting toolkit with a genuine, hands-on interest in AI.

• Experience: Around 3 years or more within management or strategy consulting, or in a strategy, transformation or business operations role in a tech or SaaS company.
• Hands-on with AI: You use AI tools actively in your own work and have ideally led adoption across functions, business units, or the broader organization.
• Project Management: A proven ability to create structure and drive execution across many stakeholders - plans, follow-up and cadence - without formal authority.
• Communication: You can turn complex progress into a clear story for senior stakeholders, and run workshops and events that get people moving.
• Analytical Rigour: Comfort with KPIs, data and simple business cases, so impact and investment can be followed up factually.
• Language: Fluent English. Danish is a plus.
• Location: Based in or near Copenhagen. We work hybrid, but the role depends on close collaboration across functions, so expect to be at our Carlsberg Byen office often.

The Interview Process

2. 1st interview: Meet up online with Martin Bergholdt, Chief Strategy Officer, where we'll learn more about you, and you'll get to know the role more in depth. Duration: ~45-60 min.
3. 2nd interview: Dive deeper into the role with Martin Bergholdt and the hiring team. You'll receive a case and personality assessment in advance to prepare. We will dedicate at least 1 hour of this session to an interactive case presentation and discussion. Total prep time: ~4 hours | Interview duration: ~120 min.

If all interviews align, we typically follow up with one or two short reference calls as part of the process.
