Job summary

Alfa Laval Corporate AB is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Project Manager to lead projects within elastomers and optimize the supplier base with an annual spend above DKK 100 million. The role focuses on supporting the Superior Customer Experience Program by ensuring stable deliveries to factories and the distribution center while upholding sustainability, safety, quality, and cost.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in strategic procurement or sourcing.
• Proven experience leading sourcing or cross-functional projects.
• Experience with supplier management, supplier development, and optimizing supplier bases.
• Skilled in PPAP and Lean Six Sigma tools to drive improvements.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to build alignment.
• Fluent in English; Danish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing projects covering 500+ parts and develop preferred supplier strategies.
• Optimize supplier base across cost, quality, delivery, safety, sustainability and compliance.
• Ensure continuity and reliability of supply for production and distribution.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Production and other stakeholders to align sourcing strategies.
• Analyze spend, supplier performance and market data to identify opportunities.
• Ensure sourcing activities comply with legislation, policies and business requirements.
• Drive initiatives that strengthen the supply chain and customer experience.
