Job summary

RWE Renewables Denmark A/S is seeking a procurement professional for a fixed-term maternity cover, starting as soon as possible. The role focuses on supporting the Procurement Supply Chain Strategy and Cost Analytics team, coordinating with international stakeholders across the renewables business.

You will drive sustainability initiatives, contribute to sourcing and market analyses, and support cost analytics, benchmarking, and forecasting to enable informed procurement decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years within procurement, sales, supply chain or related commercial discipline.
• Experience with strategic procurement or sales projects and international stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and support business recommendations.
• Experience in cost modelling, price analysis and data visualization would be advantageous.
• Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support international sustainability and supply chain strategy projects across the renewables business.
• Drive procurement sustainability and supply chain initiatives for onshore and offshore wind, solar, batteries and related technologies.
• Identify and analyse supply chain trends, market developments and supplier landscapes to support strategic decisions.
• Monitor regulatory, trade-policy and geopolitical developments and assess implications for procurement markets and project costs.
• Assess supply and demand dynamics within key procurement categories and provide sourcing recommendations.
• Support development and improvement of category and procurement strategies with Category Management teams.
• Contribute to strategic planning, risk management and procurement transformation initiatives.
• Maintain and improve cost and price databases, including benchmarking and forecasting to support decisions.
