Job summary

Unicon A/S in Denmark seeks a Procurement Specialist to strengthen the Procurement team and drive strategic sourcing across Danish operations. Based at Aalborg with regular travel to Vejle and other Unicon locations (4–6 days per month).

You will own sourcing initiatives across indirect spend, lead end-to-end tender processes, develop strategies and robust contracts balancing value, performance, and risk, and collaborate with plant managers and technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in strategic procurement, sourcing or category management.
• Experience leading tender processes (RFI, RFQ and RFP).
• Strong supplier negotiations, contracting and supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and tender activities across assigned categories.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and drive cost optimisation (TCO opportunities).
• Manage procurement activities in maintenance, services, fleet and CAPEX.
• Perform market analysis, supplier scouting, benchmarking and spend analytics.
• Support group category strategies while ensuring local execution and compliance.
• Build relationships with plant managers, technical teams and stakeholders.
