Qualifications

• 7+ years in strategic partnerships, alliances, ecosystem or vendor management in a global organisation.
• Experience with major technology, AI, data or cloud providers and delivery partners.
• Establish governance, run exec reviews, define KPIs, manage actions and risks.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen including spend, renewals, credits and co-investment with Procurement/Legal/Finance.
• Understanding of AI, data, cloud or digital product lifecycle and value measurement.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and mobilise cross-functional teams.
• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent English; life sciences/regulatory experience is a plus.

Your new role

As Strategic Partnership Manager for Enterprise AI, you will oversee the external delivery partner landscape across our AI organisation, bringing structure, governance and commercial clarity to a complex AI solution delivery ecosystem. You will be the connective tissue between delivery teams, leadership and external partners, ensuring every engagement is purposeful, coordinated and delivering measurable value.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading external partnership management across Enterprise AI, maintaining a complete view of strategic partners and external engagements – including objectives, owners, commitments, spend, performance, risks and renewal horizons
• Shaping and optimising the partner landscape alongside Enterprise AI leadership, identifying capability gaps, overlap, concentration risk and consolidation opportunities
• Building strategic partner plans and running governance with shared objectives, executive and operational forums, performance expectations and disciplined action follow-up
• Maximising partner value by mobilising co-investment, credits, innovation funding, accelerators and specialist expertise aligned with portfolio priorities
• Enabling delivery teams by matching needs to partner capabilities, supporting with brokering cross-team collaboration and sharing partner insights and best practices
• Providing consolidated status and decision support on engagement health, delivery KPIs, commercial exposure, risks and value opportunities.

Within Enterprise IT & Quality, the Enterprise AI organisation is accelerating Novo Nordisk's AI-powered transformation. You will sit in the Portfolio & Value Office, acting as the central orchestrator for all strategic external partnerships – bringing transparency, leverage and governance to an ecosystem that is critical to our AI ambitions. This is a highly visible role operating at the intersection of technology strategy, commercial management and executive stakeholder engagement.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with commercial rigour and the confidence to influence without authority in a complex, matrixed environment. You'll bring:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in strategic partnerships, alliances, ecosystem or vendor management, technology sourcing, commercial management, or management consulting in a complex global organisation
• Demonstrated experience managing relationships with major technology, AI, data or cloud providers, consultancies or delivery partners across multiple teams or business areas
• Proven ability to establish partnership governance, run quarterly or executive business reviews, define performance scorecards and KPIs, and manage actions, risks, issues and escalations
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including practical experience with spend and pricing models, renewals, credits, co-investment opportunities, business cases and negotiation support in collaboration with Procurement, Legal and Finance
• Practical understanding of the AI, data, cloud or digital product lifecycle, including architecture, security, privacy, responsible AI, delivery and value measurement considerations
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and mobilise cross-functional teams without direct authority
• A relevant Master's degree in business, technology, engineering, economics, law or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Fluent written and spoken English; experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals or another regulated industry is an advantage.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600 to 1,091,600 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
