Job summary

Ørsted is seeking a strategic technology procurement professional to shape and execute sourcing across software, SaaS, cloud services, and IT platforms. You’ll lead tenders, negotiate contracts, manage commercial risk, and translate business priorities into actionable procurement plans.

You will partner with senior business and technology leaders, build strong supplier relationships, drive governance and category maturity, and support global projects.

Qualifications

• University degree in business, economics, or equivalent experience.
• Strong strategic sourcing experience in IT/digital technology.
• Broad commercial toolkit across tenders, negotiations, contract management.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Shape sourcing strategies for IT and digital technology categories.
• Lead complex sourcing projects from strategy through tenders and negotiations to contract handover.
• Advise senior stakeholders on sourcing choices, commercial risks, and supplier markets.
• Translate business priorities into procurement plans and challenge demand.
• Drive contract renewals, negotiations, and supplier performance dialogues.
• Strengthen procurement governance and category maturity across the organisation.
