Job summary

Ørsted is seeking a strategic procurement professional to shape and execute sourcing across software, SaaS, cloud services, and IT infrastructure. You will lead tenders, negotiate contracts, and manage commercial risk, partnering with senior business and technology stakeholders to deliver value.

You’ll support DT Procurement, collaborate with eight specialists, and help build a forward-looking sourcing pipeline while aligning with global projects and governance standards.

Qualifications

• University degree in business, economics, or equivalent experience.
• Strong strategic sourcing experience, preferably in IT or digital technology.
• Broad commercial toolkit across tenders, negotiations, contract management, and supplier management.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across seniority levels and cultures.
• Experience with EU tendering processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Shape sourcing strategies for IT and digital technology categories.
• Lead complex sourcing projects from strategy through tenders and negotiations to contract handover.
• Advise senior stakeholders on sourcing choices, risks, value opportunities, and supplier markets.
• Translate business priorities into procurement plans and challenge demand constructively.
• Drive contract renewals, high-impact negotiations, and supplier performance dialogues.
• Strengthen procurement governance, ways of working, and category maturity; support global projects.
