Job summary

ALK is a global pharmaceutical company specialising in allergy immunotherapy. Based at our headquarters in Hørsholm, Denmark, this Business Manager & EA role supports the Group CFO & EVP of Global Business Operations, enabling ALK's Allergy+ 2028 strategy.

You will act as trusted adviser, drive strategic projects across GBO, prepare materials for the Board and Leadership Team, and orchestrate CFO office activities in collaboration with the Personal Assistant.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in management consulting, corporate finance, or strategic planning.
• Master’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
• Professional fluency in both spoken and written English and Danish, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to senior leaders.
• Ability to break down complex business challenges into actionable, value-creating solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills that build trust across diverse teams, alongside discretion to handle sensitive information.
• Transform complex ideas, analysis and data into clear, visually compelling PowerPoint presentations with recommendations and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted adviser and sparring partner to the CFO, providing analyses and decision support for translating strategy into action.
• Own the Compass for the CFO area and ensure execution of priorities and initiatives.
• Initiate and drive improvement projects within GBO and across ALK.
• Partner with the Strategic HR Business Partner to the CFO on organisational shaping and development initiatives.
• Prepare high-quality materials for the Board, Executive Leadership Team and committees.
• Set the agenda and materials for CFO quarterly Business Review Meetings and GBO leadership town halls.
• Deliver ad hoc presentations and communications on behalf of the CFO.
• Coordinate CFO office day-to-day activities with the Personal Assistant.
