Job summary

GEA in Søborg is seeking an experienced Strategic Buyer Mechanical to join our Procurement & Supply Chain organization. You will develop site-specific category strategies for the mechanical category, manage supplier relationships, and lead supplier development, innovation programs, and continuous improvement.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, 10+ years in strategic procurement, strong negotiation and contract-management skills, and experience with SAP Ariba

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a similar relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in strategic procurement.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience handling complex commercial negotiations.
• Experience with contract and framework agreement management.
• Solid analytical skills and experience with cost analysis and market analysis.
• Experience working in complex, international organizations.
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba and SAP CP.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.
