Job summary

DT Procurement is seeking an experienced procurement professional to shape and execute strategic sourcing across IT and digital technology categories, including software, SaaS, cloud, and infrastructure. You will translate business priorities into sourcing strategies, lead complex tenders, and drive value while managing risk with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with EU tendering processes.
• University degree in business, economics or related field.
• Senior strategic sourcing experience in IT or digital tech.
• Strong commercial toolbox for tenders and negotiations.
• Ability to build senior stakeholder relationships.
• Consulting experience preferred.

Job description

In this role where you'll shape and execute strategic sourcing across key IT and digital technology categories, including software, SaaS, cloud services, infrastructure, and technology platforms. You'll translate business priorities into sourcing strategies, lead complex tenders and negotiations, and secure commercial value while managing risk in close collaboration with senior business and technology stakeholders. A key part of the role will be to lead stakeholder dialogues, challenge demand constructively, and align procurement activities with DT's strategic priorities.

You'll be part of the DT Procurement team, a team of nine experienced sourcing and contract management professionals.

You'll play an important role in:

Reporting to the Head of DT Procurement.

Shaping sourcing strategies for critical IT and digital technology categories

• Leading complex sourcing projects from strategy to contract handover
• Advising senior stakeholders on sourcing choices, commercial risk, and value levers
• Driving high-impact negotiations, renewals, and supplier performance dialogues
• Strengthening procurement governance, ways of working, and category maturity.

Requirements

• Must have experience with EU tendering processes
• Hold a relevant university degree, e.g. within business, economics, or another relevant field
• Bring senior strategic sourcing experience, from IT or digital technology
• Apply a strong commercial toolbox across tenders, negotiations, and supplier management
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships across seniority levels, functions, and cultures
• Would ideally have consulting experience.
