Job summary

Twoday is seeking an experienced hands-on Solution Architect to design and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions for public-sector contexts in Copenhagen.

Join an architecture function and collaborate with developers, PMs and product owners to translate requirements into robust, reusable solutions using C#, .NET and Azure.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a Solution Architect, Software Architect or hands-on Lead Developer.
• Hands-on experience with C# and .NET.
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native development.
• Experience designing shared platforms across multiple applications or teams.
• Experience with APIs, integrations and distributed or event-driven systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of security principles such as Zero Trust and least privilege.
• Experience from regulated or security-sensitive organisations.
• Ability to move between architecture, code and implementation.
• Fluency in Danish and professional proficiency in English.
• Willingness to work onsite in Copenhagen.

• Modernising legacy applications and integrating existing systems.
• Ensuring security, governance, traceability and regulatory compliance.
• Documenting and communicating architectural decisions clearly.

Hands-on Solution Architect – Azure and .NET

Would you like to combine solution architecture with hands-on development of business-critical public-sector solutions?

Twoday is looking for an experienced hands-on Solution Architect to design and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions within a highly regulated public-sector environment. You will combine responsibility for solution architecture, shared platforms and governance with practical implementation in C#, .NET and Microsoft Azure.

You will be permanently employed by Twoday and work full-time on-site with our customer in Copenhagen.

Your role

You will join an established architecture function and work closely with development teams, product owners, project managers and other architects. You will translate business requirements and target architecture into robust, reusable solutions and contribute directly to bringing them to life.

Your tasks will include:

• Designing shared integration, data and identity platforms in Microsoft Azure
• Designing APIs, integrations and event-driven solutions
• Establishing architecture principles, blueprints and reusable accelerators
• Developing prototypes and reusable components
• Contributing directly to implementation in C# and .NET
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code using Bicep or Terraform

Your background

We expect you to have:

• Solid experience as a Solution Architect, Software Architect or hands-on Lead Developer
• Current hands‑on experience with C# and .NET
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud‑native development
• Experience designing shared platforms across multiple applications or teams
• Experience with APIs, integrations and distributed or event‑driven systems
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and Azure DevOps
• Understanding of security principles such as Zero Trust and least privilege
• Experience from regulated or security‑sensitive organisations
• The ability to move confidently between architecture, code and implementation
• Completely fluent spoken and written Danish
• Professional proficiency in English
• The ability and willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Copenhagen
