Job summary

SpeedLine Logistics UAE is seeking an experienced Software Tester to join our team in the Faroe Islands. The role focuses on identifying software defects, executing test plans, and ensuring quality across products.

You will work with developers to troubleshoot issues and maintain thorough test coverage. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, hands-on testing experience, and familiarity with SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Proven work experience as a Software Tester or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA processes.
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA).
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual and automated testing on software applications to identify defects.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues found during testing.
• Document and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure they meet the required specifications.
• Continuously improve and streamline the software testing process.
