Job summary

QuantumIT Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Software Tester to join our Aalborg team. The role focuses on manual and automated testing to ensure product quality, working closely with developers to identify and fix issues, and documenting findings for stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, hands-on testing experience, and familiarity with Agile practices. ISTQB or similar certifications are a plus, as is experience with performance testing tools and SQL

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
ISTQB or other relevant certifications are preferred.
Experience as Software Tester or similar role is required.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools and techniques.
Experience with both manual and automated testing.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Conduct manual and automated testing to identify bugs and errors.
Develop and execute test plans and strategies for reliability, usability, and performance.
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and communicate findings.
Document test results and create reports for management and clients.
Continuously improve testing processes to enhance product quality.
