Job summary

Performativ in Copenhagen is building a modern platform for investment data integrations. We deliver reusable ingestion, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring capabilities across files, APIs, SFTP, and message interfaces.

You will work with AI-assisted development, guide data quality, and collaborate with users and other engineers to ensure correct, reliable data across the platform. Flexible hybrid work from our city-centre office and remote options are available.

Qualifications

• Strong backend or data-engineering judgment for production systems.
• Experience with financial integrations, reconciliation, ETL pipelines, and APIs.
• Familiarity with Python, Golang, PHP, TypeScript, MySQL, Redis, AWS, and CI/CD tooling.

• Develop and maintain integrations covering positions, transactions, cash, instruments, prices, corporate actions, and other investment data across files, APIs, SFTP, and message-based interfaces.
• Build reusable ingestion, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring capabilities.
• Investigate complex data and production issues across internal systems, external providers, and customer environments, delivering permanent fixes.
• Work closely with users, operations specialists, and other engineers to ensure data is correct and useful throughout the platform.
• Direct AI agents to produce implementations, review their output, and establish tests and controls for safe deployment.

As our new Software Engineer, Investment Data Integrations

You will help build and operate the systems that connect Performativ with custodians and other providers of investment data.

The immediate challenge is practical: we need to deliver a growing number of integrations while maintaining the existing portfolio and resolving real production issues. The longer-term challenge is to avoid a scaling trap where every new institution requires another collection of manual processes and bespoke code.

We are building a more automated integration platform with reusable pipelines, mappings, reconciliation, quality controls, and AI-assisted development. Your work will contribute both to integrations customers need now and to the foundations that let the team deliver future integrations faster and more safely.

• You will develop and maintain integrations covering positions, transactions, cash, instruments, prices, corporate actions, and other investment data across files, APIs, SFTP, and message-based interfaces.
• You will build reusable ingestion, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring capabilities instead of treating each provider as an isolated implementation.
• You will investigate complex data and production issues across internal systems, external providers, and customer environments, then deliver permanent fixes that prevent known classes of problems from recurring.
• You will work closely with users, operations specialists, and other engineers to understand the complete workflow and ensure that integrated data is correct and useful throughout the platform.
• You will direct AI agents to produce much of the implementation, review their assumptions and output critically, and establish the tests, controls, and evidence required for safe deployment.

You should bring strong backend or data-engineering judgment and experience with production systems where correctness and reliability matter. Experience with financial integrations, investment data, reconciliation, ETL pipelines, APIs, structured files, or regulated systems would be valuable. Familiarity with technologies such as Python, Golang, PHP, TypeScript, MySQL, Redis, AWS, and CI/CD tooling is useful, but experience with our exact stack is not essential.
