Job summary

TDC NET A/S is seeking an early-career software engineer to join a cross-functional team building data-driven applications, APIs, and ML-powered interfaces for internal users. You will work with data engineers, ML engineers, and platform teams to connect data pipelines with production apps and surface model outputs in meaningful ways.

You will grow in a collaborative environment that values code quality, CI/CD practices, and shipping impactful products that leverage data and AI.

Qualifications

• Must-have: Collaborative team player with willingness to learn.
• Must-have: 1–3 years of experience building and shipping data-based software in production.
• Must-have: Extensive Python skills and solid software engineering fundamentals (testing, CI/CD, code review).
• Must-have: Experience building APIs or backend services that interface with data or external systems.
• Must-have: Understanding of application architecture and how to design maintainable, scalable systems.
• Must-have: Some hands-on exposure to working with data—databases, data pipelines, or ML model outputs.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade software applications that integrate data pipelines and ML components.
• Develop clean APIs and services that expose data and ML capabilities to internal users.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers to ensure smooth integration between the data layer and application layer.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerised deployments, and application monitoring.
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews, contributing to shared engineering standards.
• Iterate on prototypes and evolve them into reliable, well-tested, maintainable products.
