Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Novo Nordisk is seeking a Software Asset Management lead/senior to build an enterprise-wide SAM capability. You will connect entitlement, usage, contract and financial data to drive evidence-based investment decisions and simplify the technology landscape.
You will define the SAM vision, govern processes, and drive automation and governance AI to improve forecasting while collaborating with Procurement, Finance, Security and IT. This role reports to Enterprise IT & Quality.
Your impact begins here As Software Asset Management (Lead/Senior), you will build Software Asset Management into an enterprise-wide capability that Novo governs and owns internally. You will connect entitlement, usage, contract and financial data so teams can make sharper investment decisions, negotiate from evidence and simplify the technology landscape. Your work will turn software complexity into savings validated by Finance, lower risk and budget released for new priorities, giving colleagues across Novo more room to focus on the work that matters.
What you’ll bring
You know enterprise software licensing well, from contract terms to deployment data, and you can turn that knowledge into decisions people trust. You will also bring:
Useful, but not essential:
What you’ll do
You will set the direction and stay hands-on enough to speed up delivery. Success means clear accountabilities, repeatable cycles and value that Finance can confirm.
Who you’ll work with
You will join Enterprise IT & Quality, where colleagues work across the Novo value chain, stay close to stakeholders and help deliver trusted technology and responsible ways of working. You will report to Anders Gooseman Hove.
Your closest partners will be Enterprise IT leadership, Procurement and Strategic Sourcing, and Finance and FinOps. You will also work with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Legal, ServiceNow and CMDB teams, cloud and platform teams, and application and product owners. Outside Novo, you will work with software vendors and specialist external advisers.
Each partner owns part of the software picture. You will bring them together around shared data and clear decisions and speak up when things stall.
What you can expect here
You will have the trust and space to shape a capability across the enterprise. Your expertise will inform investment, sourcing and architecture decisions, and you will be expected to make your voice heard and then commit once decisions are made.
The role puts you at the point where technology, commercial and financial work meet, giving you broad exposure across the value chain. As Novo upskills its workforce to make AI a main driver of innovation, you will help shape how governed AI improves the way software is managed. You can expect clear performance expectations, honest feedback and a culture that recognises results.
At Novo Nordisk, you’ll join a global healthcare company with a unique culture and strong results. We offer continuous learning, career development, and benefits tailored to your life and career stage.
