Job summary

GEA is seeking a Social Media Operations Assistant (part-time student position) to join its Digital Channels team in Group Communications and Brand. Based in Søborg near Copenhagen, you will help administer and govern GEA's social media ecosystem, assist with onboarding, training, and performance reporting, and support cross‑regional collaboration across Europe and beyond.

You will work 15 hours per week (two days) and contribute to continuous improvement through processes, tools, and AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Currently studying communication, digital media or a related field
• Structured and detail-oriented, with an interest in processes, organization, and operational excellence
• Comfortable working with digital platforms and eager to learn new systems and tools
• Experience with social media management platforms or digital collaboration tools is an advantage
• Interested in data, reporting, and using insights to improve ways of working
• Familiarity with AI tools and automation technologies is considered a plus
• Confident in written and spoken English; Danish is not required
• A proactive and reliable team player who enjoys helping colleagues and collaborating across cultures and geographies

Responsibilities

• Supporting the administration and maintenance of GEA's social media management platform, including user access, permissions, account setup, and platform governance
• Assisting colleagues across the organization with onboarding, training, and support related to social media tools, processes, and best practices
• Helping manage and maintain GEA's global social media account inventory, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date
• Supporting the implementation and optimization of employee advocacy and social media enablement initiatives
• Assisting with social media reporting by collecting, organizing, and analyzing channel performance data and operational metrics
• Exploring opportunities to improve workflows, automation, and efficiencies through digital tools and AI-supported solutions
• Monitoring platform developments, emerging features, and changes in the social media landscape that may impact business use
