Qualifications

• Previous experience as a plasterer is required
• Must be able to work full-time hours including weekends if needed
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination for using tools effectively
• Attention to detail for creating precise finishes and designs
• Must have a biometric passport for security purposes

Responsibilities

• Preparing surfaces by removing old paint or wallpaper, cleaning and sanding
• Measuring and cutting plasterboard to fit the area being worked on
• Mixing plaster to the right consistency and applying it evenly to walls or ceilings
• Using hand tools like trowels, brushes and spray guns to create a smooth finish
• Repairing cracks, holes or other damage in existing surfaces
• Creating decorative patterns or designs with different textures or colors
• Ensuring all work meets safety standards and regulations
