Job summary

We are in need of a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Aalborg As a Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing installing and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood plywood and wallboard Your duties will also include reading and interpreting blueprints measuring and cutting materials and ensuring the safety of construction sites To excel in this role you should have strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools as well as excellent math skills and attention to detail The ideal candidate will also have experience with both residential and commercial projects

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine requirements
• Measure and cut materials to specified dimensions
• Install structures such as windows frames floorings ceilings etc
• Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with building codes and specifications
• Maintain a clean work area and ensure safety on construction sites

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
• Excellent math skills for calculating angles dimensions etc
• Familiarity with power tools such as saws drills etc
• In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques including framing roofing finishing work
• Physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time
• Good communication skills for working with clients or team members

Salary 1200$ per month negotiable based on experience This is a contract job without accommodation provided We welcome all nationalities but applicants must have their own visa allowing them to work in Aalborg This is also an opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of carpentry
