Job summary

Everllence’s Copenhagen-based Edge Application team is seeking a Backend Developer to help build secure, efficient backend services in C++. You will design, implement and test components that power our customer facing applications used to control ships.

You will work across architecture and deployment, collaborate with teams in India, and contribute to cybersecurity hardening, cryptography, REST and MQTT interfaces, ensuring cross-platform compatibility on Windows and Linux.

Qualifications

• Have experience developing in C++
• Understanding of software requirements in industrial systems
• Experience implementing cybersecurity requirements incl. standards such as NIST2, IEC62443 or similar
• Cross-platform development (Windows and Linux)
• Knowledge and experience with Cryptography and PKI infrastructure
• Experience implementing interfaces and protocols such as REST and MQTT

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test backend services in C++.
• Strong focus on cybersecurity and system integrity.
• Implement cryptography in various products.
• Collaborate across product lifecycle from architecture to deployment and operations.
• Define integrations between backend protocols and user-facing applications.
• Troubleshoot field issues by collecting logs and debugging software.
