Job summary

Roberta’s Society in Aarhus is seeking a positive Service Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll prepare and serve dishes during dinner service, working closely with the Head Chef and front-of-house to ensure a smooth, high‑quality guest experience.

We are a laid‑back, international venue where food, culture and sociable experiences come together. The role offers a hands‑on kitchen environment, opportunities to learn, develop and take on responsibility within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Have some experience working in a restaurant, hotel or similar kitchen environment.
• Have a genuine interest in food and enjoy cooking.
• Are reliable, flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a positive attitude and enjoy being part of a team.
• Take pride in your work and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve dishes from our menu, primarily during dinner service.
• Contribute to a positive, fun and well-organised kitchen environment.
• Maintain consistent portion sizes, food quality and presentation.
• Assist with daily preparation, prep lists and food ordering.
• Monitor food waste and help reduce unnecessary costs.
• Ensure correct food labelling, including allergens.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleaning and food safety.
• Support dishwashing and other kitchen duties when needed.
• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
