Job summary

Nordic Rebar ApS runs a workshop about 15 km from Vejle in East Jutland, Denmark. We seek a workshop mechanic to keep the workshop running and machines in good order, repairing used machines for the rebar industry and operating a forklift.

You should have a technical background, 10+ years of experience, a valid forklift licence, and ability to work independently. The role is permanent, on-site in Gadbjerg, with a starting wage of EUR 25 per hour and a 37-hour week, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Have a technical/trade background (car/truck mechanic, industrial electrician or mechatronics technician).
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience in a workshop setting.
• Hold a valid forklift/truck licence and be able to work independently.
• Be able to understand and speak English and be an EU citizen.

Responsibilities

• Repair and preparation of used machines for the rebar industry.
• Loading and unloading machines and accessories using a forklift truck.
• General maintenance and tidiness in the workshop.
