NOV is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Structures & Ancillaries team in Brøndby, Denmark. You will own structural integrity and maintenance programs for offshore reels, performing assessments and coordinating with suppliers.

You will work with Kalundborg engineers, drive inspections, and guide fabrication and procurement of reels. The role combines design, calculations, and hands-on verification to ensure reliability and safety of a fleet of reels.

Competenze

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Min. 5 years of work experience.
• Experience in structural engineering with focus on welded steel structures.
• Experience with structural inspections, damage assessments, and steel fabrication.
• Experience performing structural calculations and preparing documentation.
• Ability to evaluate structural integrity and recommend corrective actions.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in Danish and English, written and spoken.

• Develop, maintain, and follow up on maintenance programs for offshore reels.
• Perform on-site structural inspections, assess damage, and recommend repairs.
• Conduct structural calculations and prepare engineering reports for welded steel structures.
• Provide technical support for maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of reels.
