Job summary

Ascendis Pharma A/S is seeking a Senior/ Specialist Statistical Programmer to join our biometrics team in Denmark. You will contribute to SDTM programming using metadata-driven approaches and collaborate with global colleagues to deliver quality deliverables.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in a related field and at least 5 years of SAS experience in clinical trials, with a focus on SDTM and CDISC standards. Travel is limited, with approximately 10 days per year.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, life sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of SAS experience in clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, development, and continuous improvement of SDTM deliverables.
• Develop automated programming solutions and metadata-driven approaches to support clinical trials.
• Optimize metadata and their application.
• Review clinical trial data and specifications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Support metadata validation and quality control.
• Collaborate with international colleagues in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
