Sedna is seeking a software engineer to contribute to the design, development and evolution of the VMS. You will work on backend Java services and frontend React interfaces, with data stored in Oracle and deployments on AWS, built via GitLab CI/CD.

You will own features end-to-end, participate in architecture discussions, implement tests with Postman and Playwright, and collaborate with product and support teams to deliver reliable, scalable maritime software.

Competenze

• 3+ years of professional engineering in production systems.
• Strong experience with JVM languages and modern frontend (React).
• Excellent SQL skills (Oracle or PostgreSQL) and performance tuning.
• Experience diagnosing incidents and on-call is a plus.

Mansioni

• Develop backend Java services and frontend React components for the VMS.
• Own feature design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Contribute to system architecture and modernization efforts.
