Job summary

WPP is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions using Scala, Rust, Go, and C#. You will collaborate with product, design, QA and DevOps to deliver high-quality applications.

The role emphasizes IaC, cloud platforms, RESTful APIs, and secure coding practices, with a hybrid work model and opportunities to influence architecture and technology decisions across our Data & Technology Solutions team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages - Scala, Rust, C#, Go.
• Expert knowledge of IaC patterns and frameworks.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and web applications.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and caching (Redis).
• Experience with cloud (GCP/Azure/AWS) technologies.

What you’ll need:

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams including Product, Design, QA, and DevOps to deliver high‑quality applications that meet user and business needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages - Scala preffered or Rust, C#, Go
• Expert knowledge of IaC(Infrastructure as Code) patterns and frameworks
• Experience building RESTful APIs and web applications
• Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and caching (Redis)
• Experience with cloud (GCP/Azure/AWS) technologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
