Job summary

Vendortell is building an AI-native Contract Performance Management platform from Aarhus with a hybrid work model. You will own production-quality features, drive end-to-end delivery, and work with a modern stack including Laravel, PHP, React, and ERP integrations.

You will operate in a senior role, influencing architecture and tradeoffs, with a focus on real-time data, AI components, and scalable backend services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production systems.
• Strong in Laravel/PHP, comfortable in React when needed.
• Real LLM-in-production experience: prompts, retrieval, evaluation, cost, latency, evals.
• Comfortable in messy domains: financial logic, integrations, edge cases.
• Owns what you build – design it, ship it, monitor it.

Responsibilities

• Own surfaces end-to-end from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Build AI-native features that shape the platform's core.
• Ensure robust ERP integrations (Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Develop real-time dashboards and reactive UI with WebSockets.

We are building an AI-native Contract Performance Management platform aiming to become the European leader.

Every business runs on contracts. Millions move every day based on agreed terms. But most companies can't tell you what their contracts are actually worth. The truth only surfaces in costly and time consuming audits.

Contracts have become the 'financial infrastructure of the business' but no software caught up. We're building the layer that do catch up, for the European mid-market, with AI doing the heavy lifting from day one.

What you'll build

• AI-native from the core. LLMs, agents, retrieval - not a side feature. The heart of how contracts become structured financial truth.
• Real-time financial intelligence. Earned, projected, missed and actual value across thousands of contracts and millions of transactions, continuously computed.
• ERP integrations done right. Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, e-conomic. Robust, idempotent, observable.
• Live, reactive UI. Dashboards and projections that update in real time. WebSockets, not refresh buttons.
• Foundational architecture. The calls you make today shape the platform for years. The CTO backs your judgement.

This isn't a backlog-ticket role. You'll own surfaces end-to-end, design, ship, monitor, talk to the customer, watch the impact land.

How we imagine you

• 5+ years building production systems - not prototypes
• Strong in Laravel/PHP, comfortable in React when the work demands it (or the other way around - backend-leaning is fine)
• Real LLM-in-production experience: prompts, retrieval, evaluation, cost, latency, evals. Not 'I tried ChatGPT once.'
• Comfortable in messy domains - financial logic, integrations, reconciliation, edge cases that don't fit on a Figma frame
• Owns what you build - design it, ship it, monitor it, fix it
• Pragmatic. You make the right tradeoff between elegance and speed without ego

Bonus if you've worked with: pgvector, Inertia.js, Vapor / serverless, Reverb or another WebSocket stack, ERP integrations, or Python-side AI tooling alongside PHP.

Location Aarhus, hybrid. Office most days, flex when you need it. International candidates welcome if you're moving to Aarhus.
