Job summary

Arla Foods A.m.b.a seeks a Senior Site Director Fresh/DSD to lead the end-to-end Fresh operation in Denmark, overseeing three production sites, warehousing, distribution and customer logistics. You will be the single point of accountability for the Danish Fresh value chain and drive integration from production to delivery.

You will shape strategic direction, drive transformation, and ensure performance across safety, quality, cost and service, while collaborating with Arla Denmark's leadership

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience from large operations spanning production and logistics, including experience leading leaders.
• Experience driving transformation and translating strategic direction into operational execution.
• Strong understanding of logistics, flow and end-to-end supply chain in a complex operating environment.
• A strategic and commercial mindset, with the ability to balance service, cost and performance across the value chain.
• The ability to create clear direction, build collaboration and develop talent and succession across the organisation.
• Fluency in a Scandinavian language and English.

• Lead the end-to-end Fresh operation across three production sites, warehousing, distribution and customer logistics with clear ownership of service, cost, QEHS and performance outcomes.

• Embed logistics into site-based operations with cross-site standards, KPIs, mandates and decision rights.
• Drive improvements in planning, inventory, routing, fleet utilisation and the footprint of production and logistics.
• Define the ambition and long-term strategy for the Fresh category in Denmark with commercial leadership.
• Lead performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery accuracy, motivation and planet, while continuing integration of the Fresh/DSD organisation.

Are you ready to lead one of Arla's most complex and business-critical end-to-end areas in Denmark? As Senior Site Director Fresh/Direct Store Distribution (DSD), you will be responsible for ensuring that Arla's fresh supply chain operates as one integrated system from production to delivery at the customer. Following a significant organisational transformation, the focus is now on bringing the organisation together, building momentum and continuing to improve processes across the value chain.

The Fresh/DSD organisation covers approximately 1,500 colleagues across three production dairies, four distribution terminals, as well as Customer Service, Fleet Management, route planning and a digital development team. Every day, the network serves approximately 2,400 stores. Production and logistics have been brought together in an integrated end-to-end setup with clear accountability from raw material to customer.

How you will make an impact

As Senior Site Director Fresh/DSD, you will own and lead the end-to-end Fresh operation in Denmark. You will be the single point of accountability for the Danish Fresh value chain and lead the continued integration of production, warehousing, distribution and customer logistics under one accountable leadership. Your main responsibilities will be to

• Lead the end-to-end Fresh operation Take overall responsibility for the three production sites, warehousing, distribution and customer logistics, with clear ownership of service, cost, QEHS and performance outcomes
• Strengthen collaboration across the organisation Further develop the integrated geographical setup and create clear direction across sites and functions
• Strengthen flow and accountability Embed logistics into site-based operations, supported by cross-site standards, clear KPIs, mandates and decision rights
• Optimise the network Drive improvements across planning, inventory, routing, fleet utilisation and the production and logistics footprint
• Set the strategic direction Define the ambition and long-term strategy for the Fresh category in Denmark together with Arla Denmark's commercial leadership
• Drive performance and transformation Lead performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery accuracy, motivation and planet, while continuing the integration of the Fresh/DSD organisation and developing its organisational and financial potential
