Job summary

Novo Nordisk's PKPD and Quantitative Systems Pharmacology team seeks a Ph.D.-level scientist to lead modelling and simulation in PK/PD across multiple projects. You will translate preclinical PK/PD findings to human predictions, develop strategies, and support IND/IMPD/CTA submissions in collaboration with experts.

Based in Måløv, Denmark, this 12-month temporary role offers exposure to cutting-edge QSP work, mentoring junior colleagues, and interaction with global R&D researchers.

Qualifications

• PhD in physics, mathematics, engineering or quantitative biology/pharmacology.
• 6+ years post-PhD experience in pharmacometrics or mathematical modelling.
• Strong PKPD theory, statistics, data interpretation.
• Experience translating modelling into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in English.

Responsibilities

• Set scientific strategy for QSP and PKPD within projects.
• Translate preclinical PK/PD findings to human predictions and dosing strategies.
• Prepare study protocols, reports, and contribute to regulatory submissions.
• Perform PKPD modelling on research compounds across species or in vitro data.
• Simulate human PKPD based on animal/in vitro data and integrate literature data.
• Maintain state-of-the-art competences in QSP and PKPD and drive innovation.
• Mentor students and junior colleagues.
