Job summary

Danish Crown is seeking a Project Manager for Sustainable Packaging to lead cross-functional packaging initiatives and translate regulatory requirements into enterprise-wide solutions across an integrated company. You will coordinate with procurement, packaging development, quality, operations, commercial and IT to shape governance, standards and scalable actions.

The role requires experience in sustainability, packaging, and enterprise transformation, plus strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant university degree within business, engineering, supply chain, food science, sustainability or a related field.
• Have experience leading projects or programmes in a complex international organisation undergoing transformation.
• Bring experience from areas such as sustainability, procurement, packaging, supply chain, operations, quality or enterprise transformation.
• Have strong analytical capabilities and are comfortable developing business cases and decision material that support shared priorities.
• Communicate effectively with specialists, operational stakeholders, leaders and executives alike.
• Are comfortable operating in an environment characterised by integration, change and ambiguity.
• Speak and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional packaging projects from concept through implementation across Danish Crown
• Translate EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) requirements into common business requirements, standards and action plans
• Build alignment across functions, markets and stakeholder groups, enabling shared priorities and enterprise-wide solutions
• Prepare clear decision material and recommendations for management and steering committees
• Drive analyses, business cases and impact assessments related to compliance, cost and packaging performance from an enterprise-wide perspective
• Act as Business Product Owner for common packaging-related systems, data structures and reporting solutions
• Engage suppliers and external partners to identify emerging technologies and innovative solutions that can be scaled across Danish Crown
• Develop common playbooks, governance frameworks and capabilities that enable consistent and scalable implementation across Danish Crown
