Help shape the future of sustainable packaging across one of Europe's largest food companies
At Danish Crown, we are transforming the way we operate, moving from separate business units towards one integrated company with shared priorities, common ways of working and closer collaboration across functions and markets. Sustainability, compliance and innovation are increasingly interconnected, and packaging is central to this transformation.
We are looking for aProject Manager for Sustainable Packaging who thrives in complexity, enjoys connecting people and priorities across the organisation, and wants to make a tangible contribution to how Danish Crown operates as one integrated company.
In this role, you will translate evolving EU regulation and Danish Crown's sustainable packaging ambitions into practical, enterprise-wide solutions. You will work closely with colleagues across Procurement, Packaging Development, Quality, Operations, Commercial and IT, creating a common direction that supports compliance, scalability and long-term business value across functions and markets.
This is an opportunity for someone who is motivated by influence rather than hierarchy and who enjoys bringing different perspectives together around shared priorities, common standards and lasting change.
As Project Manager, Sustainable Packaging, you will drive some of Danish Crown's most important packaging initiatives, helping establish common solutions and ways of working across the integrated company.
You will turn regulatory requirements into business action, establish common governance frameworks and standards, and create transparent decision-making across functions and markets as Danish Crown transitions towards one integrated company.
More specifically, you will:
You will become part of a highly collaborative environment where success depends on your ability to navigate complexity, connect local and functional perspectives with enterprise-wide priorities, challenge established thinking and create commitment through professional credibility.
This is not a role where all answers already exist.
The regulatory landscape continues to evolve, customer and market expectations are changing rapidly, and Danish Crown is developing new common ways of working as one integrated company. You will therefore often work with ambiguity, balancing immediate requirements and local needs with long-term, enterprise-wide ambitions.
You will be successful if you enjoy:
Experience with packaging regulation, circular economy initiatives or sustainable packaging solutions is an advantage, but not a requirement.
At Danish Crown, we are accelerating our transformation into one integrated, more sustainable, agile and competitive company. This means replacing separate ways of working with shared priorities, common standards and stronger collaboration across functions and markets.
We believe that the best solutions emerge when people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives work together. We therefore encourage applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, religion or cultural background.
You will join an organisation where:
If you are excited about driving sustainable change, shaping common solutions and helping Danish Crown realise the benefits of becoming one integrated company through one of the most significant packaging transformations in our industry, we would like to hear from you.
