Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional, early-phase innovation projects inside the Research & Innovation team. You’ll drive development of automated manufacturing solutions for decoration, coating, printing, and pre-assembly of moulded plastic components.

You will create clarity in uncertain environments, guide teams, and ensure technologies progress from concept to proven manufacturing prototypes, setting foundations for successful transfer to Technology

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in R&D with program or project leadership.
• Delivered technology development projects as accountable PM in engineering/manufacturing/innovation.
• Led early-stage innovation projects progressing from idea to prototype.
• Progressed emerging technologies from concept to validated prototypes.
• Applied technical understanding to guide decisions balancing business value.
• Communicated compelling technology visions and secured stakeholder support amid uncertainty.
• Solid stakeholder management and ability to create followership.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects in early-phase innovation.
• Drive development of automated manufacturing solutions for decoration, coating, printing and pre-assembly.
• Create clarity in uncertainty and guide teams from concept to proven prototypes.
• Secure stakeholder alignment on ambition, priorities, risks, and progress.
• Establish handover foundations to Technology Transfer and future deployment.
