Job summary

Alegra Group AG is seeking a senior OpenShift Virtualization and Ansible Consultant to lead enterprise OpenShift deployments for a banking project in Copenhagen. You will design and automate virtualization platforms, build Ansible playbooks, and implement GitOps pipelines across multi-cluster Kubernetes environments.

The role requires 6–8+ years of infrastructure experience, strong OpenShift and Ansible expertise, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 6–8+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture, and automation.
• Strong hands-on OpenShift Virtualization and OpenShift deployments experience.
• Deep proficiency in Ansible Automation Platform and playbook development.
• Experience automating VM provisioning, storage, and network configurations.
• Solid knowledge of GitOps and IaC tooling.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder skills.
• Willingness for hybrid work: 3 weeks onsite in Copenhagen, then remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization environments and deployments.
• Design, develop, and test Ansible Automation Platform execution environments and playbooks.
• Automate VM provisioning, storage, networking, and lifecycle management.
• Implement robust GitOps workflows and IaC pipelines across multi-cluster Kubernetes architectures.
• Deliver technical workshops and architectural documentation for client teams.
• Support end-to-end platform implementations and performance tuning for banking workloads.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align deployment milestones and maintain runbooks.
