Job summary

AGC Biologics is seeking a Manager, Downstream Microbial Manufacturing – Senior Production Leadership to guide Shift Supervisors across multiple shifts in a GMP environment. This senior role combines strong technical knowledge of biologics production with proven leadership development across complex operations.

You will own production performance, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• A relevant degree within biotechnology, engineering or life sciences.
• Significant leadership experience in GMP-regulated production (eight years or more).
• Experience leading through other leaders (Shift Supervisors/Team Leads).
• Strong understanding of microbial downstream processes and production operations.
• Solid knowledge of GMP requirements and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the downstream production area across multiple shifts.
• Direct leadership of Shift Supervisors and their teams.
• Ensure safety, quality, compliance, delivery and performance.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and other stakeholders.
• Maintain production readiness and manage operational risks.
• Support audits and regulatory inspections and drive continuous improvement.
