Job summary

Nordea seeks a Senior/Lead Risk Expert to drive the development of Group Credit Risk oversight and strengthen 2LoD governance. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, coordinate delivery across boundaries, and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Group Risk and business areas.

You will translate strategic priorities into concrete plans, refine the risk framework, governance, and reporting, and prepare decision material for the head of Group Credit Risk.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in credit risk management and oversight.
• Ability to lead complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong governance, regulatory, and audit understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate development work to improve Group Credit Risk oversight.
• Translate priorities into practical plans and high-quality deliveries.
• Manage scoping, planning, and implementation of risk oversight initiatives.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Develop and improve the credit risk oversight framework, governance, and reporting.
