Nordea is seeking credit risk experts to strengthen credit quality across Corporate and Household domains in the Nordic region. You will join one of two teams in Group Credit Risk and work with experienced credit controllers in a second line of defence.

The role involves oversight of credit processes, collaboration with the 1st line of defence, participation in risk committees, and advising on risk matters while staying compliant with Nordea's risk framework. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience and fluent professional English.
• Strong collaborative skills and written & spoken communication skills.
• Good knowledge and experience of relevant regulation and credit processes.
• High ethical standards with demonstrated integrity, tact and diplomacy.
• Analytical and structured way of working, with sound judgment.

Responsabilités

• Oversee or lead oversight activities of credit processes and credit quality to identify improvements and ensure alignment with internal requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the 1st line of defence and key stakeholders to support solid credit risk management.
• Participate in credit risk related activities and respond to information requests from authorities and auditors.
• Build and maintain a network of relevant Nordea stakeholders.
• Contribute to decision making in credit committees to ensure adherence to risk appetite and framework.
• Advise the business on credit-risk related matters.
• Participate in creating and updating internal credit guidelines and industry credit policies.
