Job summary

emagine, on behalf of a client in the life sciences sector, seeks a Senior IT Test & Quality Consultant to establish a practical requirements and testing setup for a laboratory IT application and support revised IT quality processes.

You will define a test management approach, ensure traceability across requirements and tests, and support planning, execution and reporting while aligning IT QMS changes with IT, QA and business stakeholders in a regulated environment. Location: Bagsværd, Denmark.

Qualifications

• Senior IT Test Lead or QA IT Consultant with regulated environment experience.
• Proven experience with requirements management, test strategy, planning and traceability.
• Experience in testing for incremental or product-focused software deliveries.
• Experience in GxP or pharma/regulatory environments is a plus.
• Ability to translate global requirements into practical local processes and models.

Job description

On behalf of a client in the life sciences industry, we are looking for a Senior IT Test & Quality Consultant to establish a practical requirements and testing setup for a laboratory-related IT application and support the implementation of revised IT quality processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Define and implement a requirements and test management approach for an IT application supporting laboratory master data.
• Establish traceability between requirements, risks, test cases, test evidence and release decisions.
• Define the test strategy and support test planning, execution, defect management and reporting.
• Define roles and responsibilities across business, IT, QA and development/test teams.
• Establish practical lifecycle, change, release, support and documentation processes for the application.
• Assess revised corporate IT QMS processes and identify gaps and implementation needs.
• Translate corporate quality requirements into practical local procedures, guidance and ways of working.
• Support gap assessments, process development, stakeholder alignment and implementation of the revised IT QMS setup.

Key Requirements

• Senior experience as an IT Test Lead, Test Manager, Validation Lead, QA IT Consultant or similar.
• Strong hands-on experience with requirements management, test strategy, test planning, traceability, defect management and test execution.
• Experience establishing or improving testing for incremental or product-oriented software delivery.
• Experience from pharmaceutical, life sciences or another regulated environment, preferably involving GxP computerised systems.
• Practical understanding of IT QMS, SOPs, risk management, lifecycle management, change management and operational controls.
• Experience translating corporate or global requirements into practical local processes and operating models.
• Understanding of classical IT applications, GMP computerised systems and IT/OT environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills across IT, business and quality functions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with LIMS, laboratory systems, master data or Inorigo/similar information platforms.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Azure DevOps or comparable requirements, testing or change-management tools.
