Job summary

Danske Bank is seeking an experienced senior auditor or audit manager with strong knowledge of mainframe technology to help us audit some of our most important systems. You will join Group Internal Audit and work closely with colleagues across our audit function, including a dedicated team of IT auditors.

The role offers a hybrid working model with 3 to 4 office days per week and can be located in Denmark or Lithuania.

At Danske Bank, we are looking for an experienced senior auditor or audit manager with strong knowledge of mainframe technology to help us audit some of our most important systems. You will join Group Internal Audit and work closely with colleagues across our audit function, including a dedicated team of IT auditors.

What You Will Be Doing

As part of our team, you will perform audits of mainframe environments and related systems, covering areas such as infrastructure, operating systems, databases and applications.

• Checking compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards


• Identify risks, control weaknesses and opportunities to strengthen the control environment


• Preparing audit documentation, reports and recommendations


• Sharing audit results with stakeholders and agreeing with the next steps


• Helping to develop audit methodologies for mainframe and technology audits

About You

• Experience from internal audit, external audit, technology risk, IT controls or cyber security


• Knowledge of mainframe environments and relevant security tools as well as a good understanding of the supporting tools


• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical risks in a clear and practical way


• The ability to work independently and manage audits from planning to reporting

This position can be located both in Denmark and Lithuania. If you are hired in Lithuania, the applicable salary range will be from 4880 EUR to 7320 EUR monthly (based on your competencies relevant for the job). Your job function (position) in the job contract will be Internal audit.
