Job summary

Terma Group in Aarhus is seeking a Senior Integration Specialist to lead the design, development, and maintenance of integrations across diverse on-premises systems, and to own the integration platform for reliable, secure data exchange.

You will collaborate with data engineers and IT stakeholders, apply best practices for integration patterns, and balance stability with modernization initiatives while maintaining high uptime in a mission-critical environment.

Our team today consists of 4 data engineers that focus on data quality, integration and deliverables as well as 1 master data management (MDM) specialist. Our team is characterized by close collaboration – also with the rest of IT as well as our biggest stakeholders across Terma.

Your role in our team

As our new Senior Integration Specialist, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of integrations across diverse on-premises systems. Moreover, you will own and govern the integration platform ensuring that different business applications, systems, databases, and platforms can communicate and exchange data reliably, securely, and efficiently, in close collaborations with your team.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

• Identify opportunities to modernize integrations and reduce technical debt
• Oversee integration monitoring, troubleshooting and incident resolution
• Define best practices for integration in legacy environments

Bring your world class expertise into play

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering or a similar field of study
• Proven experience working with integration landscapes
• Strong understanding of traditional integration patterns (batch processing, ETL, file transfer, message queues)
• Experience with middleware
• Experience working in environments with high stability and uptime requirements
• Ability to balance operational reliability with modernization initiatives
