Danfoss is seeking a Senior Development Engineer to lead the electrical development of industrial pressure sensors. The role focuses on translating customer needs and regulatory requirements into robust sensor solutions from concept to validated design, in a collaborative R&D setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in industrial product development, preferably with electronic sensors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, schematic capture, testing and validation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in an international environment.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical development of industrial pressure sensors from concept through design validation, balancing performance, reliability, and cost targets.
• Design electronic hardware including schematics, prototyping and testing.
• Plan and execute design verification activities, including electrical and EMC testing, analysis of results, and documentation of findings.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across R&D, quality, process technology, product management, procurement, and external manufacturing partners.
• Translate customer applications, technical requirements, and regulatory needs into practical product solutions and continuous product improvements.
• You may occasionally engage directly with customers to troubleshoot technical challenges and gain deeper insight into application requirements.
