Job summary

Ibexa is seeking a Senior Group Controller in Aarhus (Hybrid) to lead the consolidation of the group’s financial statements, manage intercompany pricing processes, and participate in the rollout of a new group ERP system. The role requires strong analysis, ability to translate numbers into actionable decisions, and leadership in a growing European software company.

Qualifications

• A degree in finance such as cand.merc.aud. or HD-R.
• Solid financial background with hands-on experience with group accounts.
• 5+ years of experience as a controller in an international company, or several years in audit at a larger accounting firm.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large data volumes.
• Ability to take full ownership and lead change in an evolving organisation.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Month-end and year-end close: Consolidation of group financial statements and annual audit coordination.
• Transfer pricing: Intercompany pricing documentation and reconciliation.
• ERP implementation: Involvement in roll-out of a new group ERP system, including requirements and data cleansing.
• Commercial analysis: Support management with margin analyses and business cases with Finance Director and Group CFO.
• Financial reporting: Prepare and optimise reporting to management, the board and external stakeholders.
• Internal controls: Develop and implement robust controls across entities.

About the Role:

Aarhus, Danmark (Hybrid)

As Senior Group Controller, your day-to-day work will be shaped by exciting and challenging tasks that require both in-depth analysis and the ability to translate numbers into concrete decisions and actions.

Key responsibilities :

• Month-end and year-end close: Consolidation of the group's financial statements, as well as responsibility for the annual audit in cooperation with local advisors and auditors
• Transfer pricing: Preparation and maintenance of intercompany pricing, documentation and ongoing reconciliation of intercompany balances
• ERP implementation: Active participation in the roll-out of a new group ERP system, including requirements specification, data cleansing and local roll-out across individual entities
• Commercial analysis: Supporting management's decisions with margin analyses, business cases and ad hoc analyses in collaboration with the Finance Director and Group CFO
• Financial reporting: Preparing and optimising reporting to management, the board and external stakeholders, and ensuring accurate data and timely delivery
• Internal controls: Developing and implementing robust controls that ensure quality and reduce the risk of errors across the group's many entities

What we're looking for
