Saxo Bank Group in Copenhagen (HQ) is seeking a Senior Governance Manager to strengthen governance frameworks across the group. You will work closely with the Head of Group Governance to ensure governance arrangements remain effective, transparent and aligned with regulatory expectations.

As our new Senior Governance Manager, you will play a central role in supporting and evolving governance frameworks across the Saxo Bank Group. Working closely with the Head of Group Governance, you will help ensure governance arrangements remain effective, transparent and aligned with regulatory expectations.
You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across the organisation, including Executive Management, and take ownership of key governance initiatives that support sound decision-making and disciplined execution across the Group.
As Senior Governance Manager, you will:
Support the development, implementation and continuous enhancement of governance frameworks across Saxo Bank Group.
Drive the effective operation of Group management committees, governance forums and accountability arrangements.
Coordinate key governance initiatives and deliverables involving Executive Management and stakeholders across both Saxo and the wider Safra Group.
Act as secretary to the Regulatory Risk and Governance Committee (RRGC), ensuring efficient planning, preparation and follow-up of meetings.
Maintain and enhance governance documentation, including Group Directives, policies, committee charters and terms of reference.
Provide expert governance advice and constructive challenge on governance processes, decision-making and accountability structures.
Lead initiatives that strengthen governance standards and drive continuous improvement across the Group.
In this role, you will be empowered to:
Coordinate governance activities and engage stakeholders across the organisation to ensure timely delivery of governance-related initiatives.
Work directly with Executive Management and senior leaders across Group functions, subsidiaries and branch offices.
Promote consistency and alignment with Group governance standards through advice, guidance and constructive challenge.
Escalate material governance risks, issues or delays where appropriate.
Represent Group Governance in relevant committees, projects and working groups.
We imagine you have experience with governance-related matters within business management, risk, compliance, or a similar function, combined with strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders across an international organisation.
Experience working with corporate governance within business management, risk, compliance, or similar disciplines.
Strong understanding of governance structures, committee management and policy frameworks.
Experience working with senior executives and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
Excellent organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive mindset and a continuous improvement approach.
