Ramboll in Copenhagen is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Geo Structures department. You will lead geotechnical tasks on major infrastructure schemes and mentor team members, interfacing with clients to deliver high-quality designs.

The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, innovative problem-solving, and contributing to sustainable solutions for society within a hybrid work model based at Ramboll’s Copenhagen headquarters.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of working experience in geotechnical engineering.
Danish language skills are beneficial but not essential.
Strong experience in leading multi-disciplinary projects from a geotechnical perspective.
Proven ability to perform complex analyses of retaining structures or complex foundations.
Good written and oral communication in English.

Responsibilities

Leading geotechnical tasks on medium to large projects.
Interfacing with clients and stakeholders.
Providing advice and design to a multi-disciplinary project team.
Planning and conducting analyses of geotechnical structures using proprietary tools.
Mentoring less experienced engineers to deliver analyses and designs.
Introducing new ideas to ground engineering challenges and sustainable solutions.
Supporting marketing to identify and secure new projects.
