Job summary

teqLink is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join a small, ambitious team in Copenhagen. You will own architecture decisions, drive delivery from concept to implementation, and shape the role around your strengths in AI-enabled edge systems.

The role focuses on embedded Linux, edge AI nodes, and sensor integration for a Counter-UAS platform. Applicants must be NATO citizens and ready to lead technical solutions with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Several years of professional software development experience in C++ and embedded systems.
Strong software engineering fundamentals and maintainability focus.
Solid Linux experience across stack layers.
Experience with computer vision and/or distributed systems.
Comfortable acting as technical lead and driving tasks from statement to delivery.
Willingness to work with AI agents as part of daily development workflow.

Responsibilities

Detection and tracking: ingest, inference, and edge optimization for cameras and sensors.
Sensor fusion: combine radar, EO/IR inputs and track management.
Distributed systems: messaging, time sync, fault tolerance across nodes.
Sensor integration: hardware drivers, protocols and calibration.
Hardware bring-up: kernel drivers and software integration.
Field trials: real-world testing and iterative improvements.
