Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for an embedded project in Denmark. The role focuses on embedded Linux and Yocto, supporting NB‑IoT and satellite/IoT communications, with on-site options in Aalborg or Lyngby.

You will build and customize embedded environments, integrate NB‑IoT stacks, and work independently within the client platform constraints. Independent consultant or employed consultant options apply.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with embedded Linux systems, kernel config, device tree, and root filesystem customization.
• Hands-on experience moving between Yocto environments, with custom layers, recipes, and BSP management.
• Demonstrable experience with NB‑IoT protocol stacks and integration into embedded systems.
• Experience applying NB‑IoT in satellite communications context is desirable.
• Ability to work independently on embedded software implementations within defined platform constraints.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and migrate embedded Linux environments, including managing Yocto layers, recipes, and BSPs.
• Develop software for NB‑IoT protocol stacks and other communications protocols.
• Execute software development after design and architecture phases, delivering defined functionality.
• Work independently on embedded software implementation while aligning with the client's internal platform framework.
• On-site work at Aalborg or Lyngby, coordinating with client teams.
