Job summary

Intertek is actively seeking experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Inspectors to join our network of freelancers, supporting projects across Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. You will oversee quality and compliance on electrical and instrumentation work in high-impact environments, with tests, documentation reviews, and NCR handling.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong reading of drawings, proficiency with testing tools, and effective English communication.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Electrical, Instrumentation or Electronics engineering.
Certifications in QA/QC or electrical/instrumentation standards are advantageous.
CompEx, ATEX or hazardous area inspection certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect and verify installation of electrical systems, control panels, grounding, lighting, and cables.
Inspect and test instrumentation loops, transmitters, switches, valves, and control systems.
Review ITPs, method statements, calibration certificates, and as-built docs for quality compliance.
Raise NCRs and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Coordinate with construction teams and inspectors to resolve quality issues.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain QA records, ensuring HSE compliance.
