Job summary

Demant Group's Eriksholm Research Centre in Snekkersten seeks a Senior Research DSP Engineer to advance hearing solutions. You will bridge research and engineering, turning ideas into prototypes and demonstrations that move toward product development.

The role emphasizes DSP, acoustics, lab measurements, modelling, and data-driven validation, with collaboration across scientists, engineers, and R&D teams in a diverse environment. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in electrical/acoustical engineering or signal processing.
Several years in hearing-aid development or audio tech.
Strong knowledge of DSP and acoustics.
Experience with acoustic measurements and lab setups.
Experience in MATLAB, Python or similar.
Ability to translate complex problems into experiments.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Professional English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Develop and evaluate audio and DSP concepts for hearing aids.
Translate scientific ideas into working algorithms, prototypes and demonstrators.
Design acoustic measurements and laboratory setups.
Build models and tools for analysing and validating concepts.
Support maturation and technical transfer towards R&D.
Contribute to development and maintenance of research hearing-aid platforms and labs.
Provide technical support across projects involving own‑voice processing, acoustic perception, and data‑driven signal processing.
Take responsibility for selected laboratory equipment, methods and workflows.
