Senior DevOps / Observability Engineer (ELK Specialist)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Observability Engineer with strong experience in monitoring, logging, and system reliability. This is a hands‑on role where you will design and implement robust observability platforms and DevOps practices that ensure stable, scalable, and well‑monitored systems in production. You will help teams gain visibility into their systems, detect issues early, and improve overall operational performance.

You will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing monitoring and logging solutions using tools such as Elasticsearch, Kibana and related technologies
• Building dashboards, visualisations and alerting setups for critical systems
• Ensuring effective log management, data lifecycle strategies and system insights
• Proactively identifying issues and improving system observability
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Automating workflows to improve efficiency and reliability
• Contributing to stable and scalable DevOps practices across teams
• Working with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and containerised environments
• Supporting infrastructure design and system reliability in production
• Contributing to Infrastructure as Code and automated provisioning
• Contributing to backend and integration development (primarily .NET / C#)
• Supporting development teams with performance, monitoring and operational insights
• Helping design simple, scalable architectures aligned with business needs

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong experience with observability and monitoring (e.g. Elastic Stack / ELK or similar)
• Has hands‑on experience with DevOps practices and automation
• Has experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms
• Has experience with backend development (e.g. C# / .NET or similar)
• Understands system architecture and how to design scalable, reliable solutions
• Can translate technical insights into actionable improvements
• Is fluent in Danish and can communicate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

It is a plus if you:

• Have experience with alerting strategies and incident response
• Have worked in complex or business‑critical environments
• Have certifications within Elastic or observability tools
